Budapest and Vienna

Hello Everyone!!
We have all been having the time of our lives as you can tell. Spring Break was amazing and the traveling did not stop once we got back. We were in RT until Thursday where we took off for Budapest, Hungary and Vienna, Austria. Budapest was very cool and different from the other places we have traveled. We didn't get in until late Thursday and started our touring in the morning. We stayed in the Pest half of the city which is separated from Buda by a river. We made our way to the largest synagogue in Europe then headed over to the Gellert Hill and Citadel. We climbed the large hill/ mountain all the way to the top where the liberty statue is. We saw a beautiful panoramic shot of the whole city. We took some off road trails and had some laughs trying to make it all the way up. From there we got some warm drinks and took in the view. We made out way walking around the city. We ate lunch at this little restaurant. We all had Gulyas soup and it was amazing. It was a beef broth with beef carrots, totatoes and homemade noodles. We all thought it was so good and never wanted it to end. After lunch we walked over to the Fisherman's Bastion that also had a beautiful view. Back over into Pest we saw St. Stephan's Basilica and saw the creepy shriveled hand that was on display. The next adventure was the girls going to the spas. We basically ran/ speed walked the whole way about one and a half miles to make it in on time and we made it no worries. We enjoyed a relaxing time in the mineral baths, fountains, whirl pool and bubbles and also thourally enjoyed our massages :) soo nice and really inexpensive! It was great to be pampered :)
The next day we traveled to Vienna. It was a more laid back trip. We were all exhausted and enjoyed the city in a more relaxed way than most other cities. We saw the spanish horses and some beautiful gardens. We attempted to go to the opera which is really famous but it was opening night of a new show and everything was sold out. :( we were really disappointed. Once we got back from the failed opera attempt we all gathered at Motzart's for dinner and then the bar in our hostel to hang out and relax.
So far it has been amazing!! I can't believe how much time has already passed since we left the US!! We are enjoying every minute of it!
Love you all!
Andrea and the girls!
