Thursday <3

Just another quick update for the week!

Today is the second to last time we will be able to eat the Chicken Man's fabulous chicken... Lauren is devastated.  I think she fell in love with him over the course of the semester :)  Also, we had our last German Studies class.  We talked about the final material and about the movie we watched yesterday (it was actually very interesting!).  Herr Becker also read to us in the German newspaper about the Swine Flu Pandemic... it just sounds crazy!  So hard to believe something like that is hitting the world.  We heard it is marked as Level 5 (out of 6!).  We have talked to some friends that are abroad in Mexico and they are having to return back to Valpo a few weeks early... they are pretty bummed the semester is ending so abruptly.

As for RT- 83, we made a big purchase today of food, ice and beer.  Tomorrow we are starting May off right with the 1st annual Beer Olympics.  This started as a joke between our group, but now that it's time, we all pitched in and will be playing tons of games tomorrow.  I think there are 14 of us that will be ending the semester with a bang!  We even have an opening and closing ceremony planned.  It should be a very fun and interesting day- just can't wait!

Tonight we will be opening the books to start some Finals studying and just doing and going wherever the wind blows us :)  I don't think there will ever be another time in our lives (especially for us nurses) where we will have so much free time to just do whatever we want!  It sure is nice :)
