HeyHeyHey!
Man, have we been busy! I don't know how people said school work didn't take up an enormous amount of time over here because we have been going, going, going! Yesterday was a very stressful day for all of us. There was so much homework to be done, trains to be booked and hostels awaiting our reservations. Each of us have to go to a different state in Germany this weekend. Lauren and Andrea are heading way up north while Suzanne and I are traveling with our friend David nearby. We will all be gone the entire weekend researching and putting together a scrapbook about our states. I think we are all realizing how stressful booking trips can be. I know none of you want to hear us complain, but dangggg it's overwhelming :) By the end of these 4 months, the 4 of us should be licensed travel agents!
Laundry is another issue we've all had problems with. Not only are the holes to the washing machines the size of your head, but after they are done, the clothes are still sitting in a puddle of water. We have had to resort to wringing them out... and it is a definite maybe for using the sink as a washer occasionally! At least you aren't all here to smell us. About the dryers.... well, there pretty much are none. Drying racks have come to consume our rooms and hallways. 2 is the average number of days we are allowing the moisture to build up before we are dying. Oh, what we took for granted from our moms! :)
Although we are finding things that have taken us a step down from Cloud 9, I can definitely speak for the group when I say we are having the time of our lives. Everything that happens day to day isn't always what we expect, but we are treasuring each sporadic "miracle" that pops in on occasion. From the view of the mountains out the window to the brisk runs made throughout the town of Reutlingen, LIFE IS GOOD!
Updates soon!
