Welcome to Reutlingen!! (officially)

So today was an interesting time! We started off the day getting dressed up and headed downtown to the Rathaus which is like the town hall in the city center. There we met with Dr. Strobela who is in charge of the three museums in Reutlingen and is a big part of the city. We had a reception and were formally welcomed to the city. We gave and received gifts as a part of thanking everyone for the welcome. We gave a CD and a pen from Valpo. We each received a duffel bag that is gray and has Reutlingen written on the side. It is really cute! We all decided it can be a bag of life/ spring break case or an extra stuffed bag for the plane ride home :) then we all went separate ways. Some of the girls went shopping downtown for supplies and to look for boots. Others went back to the rooms and just relaxed. We all regrouped in the rooms for a while caught up on homework and then headed over to building number 5 for a meeting and make up class for the ones we missed with Herr Veit the past two days. He is a crack up and everyone says we will love him. He noted that we four are nursing majors and mentioned a possible field trip to the major hospital in the area and using health care as another aspect to cover. That is good for us :) We all made our own dinners again tonight. That has been interesting and we are praying to be better and more creative as the days pass. We are getting together for a movie tonight with the group. We are also looking forward to Munich this weekend! Love and miss you all!

Tschuuusss!!!
Andrea and the girls!
