So today was our first German exam and it went well. We all thought it was easier than expected. Which is a plus! We know our ABCs, 123s and some 120ish vocab words. We are moving up the ranks! Classes are going well and this week is the first full week. We have had something one day of the past weeks where we got out early. Monday was a little rough going from 9:00 until 5:15 but we all managed. Mondays we also go to the Mensa for lunch. This is the cafeteria on campus and it is AMAZING they have really good food for super cheap student rates. We have all enjoyed filling up on those days. We are getting even more situated and used to the schedule of life around here. Trips to the Penny and making dinner are becoming routine during the week. Weekend trips are helping to break up the schedule. We are all really getting along with the group and although we have been splitting up a little more these past weekends we all enjoy hearing stories.
Here are some little differences from home to giggle about: the shower turns off after exactly 24 seconds (trust me I timed it) :) you have to keep pushing it on over and over, every store here is closed on Sundays, Ritter Sports are all over Germany like they are going out of style and they range from 0.85- 1 Euro, and we have movie night every Wednesday night where we all pile into Brock and Davids room and smash on one of the beds and spill onto the floor.
We are looking forward to Salzberg, Austria this weekend! SOUND OF MUSIC here we come!!
Auf Wiedersehen!!
Love Andrea and the girls
