Wednesday :)

Wednesdays are known as sleep- in days here in the RT. We don't have class until 11 so it's nice to shut our blinds (which are unbelievable might I add...) and sleep until we are no longer tired. Today we only had one class... Theo/ History with Herr Becker. Lauren and Michelle had to present to the class the first of five religious debates that our group will be doing through next week. Their topic dealt with whether you have to perform good works in order to make it to heaven. Lauren sided with Luther while Michelle discussed the stance from a Catholic point of view. They both did a great job and kicked off the debates right.

Usually we would have a lunch break and then German Life & Culture, but instead of class today, we went and toured the local museum that discussed the history of Reutlingen. Our tour guide was sooo knowledgeable and she tried her best to keep us entertained. She was mostly fluent in English, but whenever she couldn't figure out a word, she was pretty hard on herself... little did she know she knew quite a bit more than us :) While on the tour, we saw pictures and knick knacks that were from back in the day here. We saw what the RT looked like after a huge fire burned through the city and we also saw bombs that hit here three times in 1945. Our group got to know about this quaint city and how it has so much history behind it!

After the tour, Herr Becker and the group went to the Bier & Wein Academy for a drink. Sam's mom is in town for the week too so she accompanied us. We all sat around, chatted and shared funny stories that we have made thus far. Mrs. Wilson was then so kind and bought everyone's drink. We love and miss moms :) She was a sweety! Now we just made our way back and are working ahead on projects, booking trips and lounging. Tomorrow is the last day of the classes for the week and we can't wait. Suz will be headed to Barcelona to see one of her friends from home while Andrea, Lauren & I may hit an outlet mall, a nude spa :) and some castles. We will all have lots to share, I'm sure!

LOVE-
ANNA
